Finaly Chiped my Nintendo Wii to play backup games

I found out the nintendo in there atemp to stop you modifying you console they removed the 3 legs on the IC chip i need to use solder to, so the only way around this is to make the legs visible again. To start of by grinding the black compound the IC chip on the Wii dvd board, was not fun with dermal in my shaky hand trying not to rip the chip apart, only shaving of a few layers to revile the 3 tiny leg traces.
Black compound removed to reveal the trace legs
Then had to carfully lol solder a tiny wires 0.2mm onto each legs, once that was done, not first time may I mention i then hot glued over the wires to keep in place.

Time to install the modchip board that does all the work, Im using a cyclowiz V2. I have soldered the modchip board direct to the Wii dvd board and the 3 tiny wires from the IC Chip.
Day 107 of 366
So the moment of truth, powered the Wii up and happy to see a solid green LED on the modchip meaning all was working, so the real moment of true testing with a backup dvd game, but that didn't work so well, after a look on the forums I found out the modchip needed a firmware upgraded to play the latest games, which meant I had to install the programing switch and a wire to the reset switch on the Wii.

After taping all the wire down and placing the switch next to the spare gamepad port I successfully upgraded the firmware with a downloaded DVD.

Finally reassembled after tested super mario kart all worked whoooo i done it ;o) All i say is this is not to be done by someone that doesn't have good soldering skills, a very steady hand.
