Sunday Shot 1/52 - Driving by I have decided to take at least 1 photo a week, for the 52 Weeks project, which i fill is more manageable then a photo a day. Also to this i will post it on my blog as Sunday Shot Now about the image i'm reading Digital photography Masterclass book by TOMANG and the first assignment is City Lights. I went out to the local high street and captured a few on the town, but while i was out with the tripod setup i have always wanted to take a long exposure of the motorway so this is what i got, i was only a test the compostions isnt the greatest but was so cold all i wanted to do was get back in the car, i was only out for 10mins but i couldnt fill my fingers. Cant wait for the warmer weather.. or i should of worn gloves :o)

Tunisia Part 1

Our sunny December trip to Tunisia. A 2 day trip on the sahara explorer Trip travelling to South Tunisia visiting many places on the way. A visit to El Djem (3rd Largest Roman Amphi Theatre, inspiration for the film Gladiator) early in the morning and the surrounding town. A visit to the town of Matmata and a look around a local Troglodyte house built into the hillside. A visit to the village of Douz 'Gateway to the Sahara Desert' and a camel ride at sunset in the desert. A stay at a hotel near the Sahara Desert. Sunrise over the salt lakes of Chott El Jerid. A visit to the village of Tozeur and horse and carriage around one of the largest oasis's in North Africa where dates are harvested from the palms. A Jeep ride to the Atlas Mountains to a small village called Chebika, then on to the Grande Cascade at Tamerza (the setting for The English Patient film.) A visit to the 4th Holiest city in the Islamic world, Kairouan. Our Hotel, Royal Kenz. The beach, quite empty in December! A visit to Sousse Medina. A visit to the 4th Holiest city in the Islamic world, Kairouan.

Had a great night with friend around to celebrate the new through. Had nice m&s party food, while watching a movie (Yes man), and boring them with the video and pic from Tunisia, nearer the time of the the stroke of 12, we released 2 flying lanterns then played with sparklers.:o)
